It is also good to know that the fountain was built in 1929 as a part of the Great Universal Exhibition.
The Aquarium
Aquarium in Barcelona is a place you simply cannot miss. With series of 35 tanks, 11,000 animals and 450 different species and six million litres of water, it’s the best marine leisure and education centre in the Mediterranean. You will be able to admire the sea life while walking in the underwater tunnel that is 80 metres long! The Aquarium offers also plenty of displays, as well as the possibility to dive with sharks!
Tibidado
Tibidado is a family amusement park, perfect for children of all ages (and their parents too). Some of the top attractions are La Attalaya – watch tower that offers astonishing views or the Museo de Autómatas – mechanical museum that dates back to 1899! What also makes the park worth visiting is its location – it’s the highest point in the city!
